Villa dell'Olivo Bianco is situated in the small village of Castio only 3 km from Lake Garda. It has been the residence of the Berti family for over 2 generations. Since May 2025 the ground floor and the entire villa has been completely restored and up graded to a Luxury Country House. The restructuring project was in the able hands of Architect Federica, whose goal was to create comfortable living spaces with privacy, so that each of the 8 guest can feel at home. Looking towards the future, one of the important features of this project was to go "Green" with eco-sustainable architecture, hence solar panels with battery accumilation, super insulated windows and doors, thermal insulation on exterior walls, and the collection of rain water for irrigation. The new villa offers 4 bedroom, each with a private bathroom, airconditioning and floor heating, an ample living room with dining area, a fully equiped kitchen, a laundry room, private salt water swimming pool, private parking space, a large covered patio with dining and living area, all being shaded by automatic awnings, and a beautiful garden with special plants and flowers. We are entusiastic to receive our guest in this new structure.

History of project
The ground floor of the villa was totally refurbished in the summer of 2025. Now with a luxury toach, its rooms and spaces are open to travelers, vacationers, and all those who love sports and the tranquility of outdoor life. Our goal is to make our guest feel at home and to offer a fantastic vacation.

Each traveler desires to find a location that will represent the meaning and motifs of his wonderings, far away from the beaten track, an idea place that will quickly summarize a new culture, making him comfortable with this new acquaintance. Castion is a typical Northern Italian village and the perfect setting for this type of traveler. An easy place to get along with the locals. It has had little or no modern technological influence; hence the people of this hamlet have remained faithful to ancient traditions and go along living with the same rhythm and lifestyle of years back. Maybe this last sentence is a little exaggerated but certainly makes the point!
Being immersed in a green valley on the foothills of the Dolomites, this location is a paradise for bikers of all ages and physical preparation, both road, e-bike, and MTB. There are many bike trails reserved for cyclists that offer a wide variety of itineraries for every level. A new ring takes you for about 20km around vineyards, olive groves, and cherry, apple, and pear orchards. A bus bike service will pick you up in deferent places on Lake Garda and take you up to 1,220 meters where there is a ski lift that will lift you to 2000 meters! Lime, a new e-bike sharing service is conveniently located in the piazza of Castion, only 200 meters from our villa.
Nordic walking fans will find innumerable paths to follow. Also normal walkers and hikers will have at their disposal many kilometers of trails.
Mount Baldo, with its 2000 meters is easily accessible and provides the excursionist with breath-taking views of Lake Garda. In winter there is a cable car in Malcesine that takes you directly on the ski slopes.
For golfers, there is an 18-hole course and a 9-hole executive course called Ca degli Olivi, only 1 km away.
Not far away there is a rock-climbing cliff used for training.
Several horse-riding schools are present with the possibility of interesting excursions.
Finally, the beauty of Lake Garda is its clean waters where you can practice a wide variety of watersports.
